Mondo is a stunning 5-6 year old Australian Shepherd mix who weighs around 50-55 pounds. Don't let his age fool you; he's an active and playful guy who's ready for adventure! Mondo has a gorgeous dark charcoal grey coat with a white belly and unique dark grey and white spotted legs. He's fully up-to-date on all his shots, heartworm negative, and microchipped.
Ideal Home
Mondo would thrive in an active home that can provide him with plenty of exercise, whether through walks, hikes, or camping trips. He is NOT an apartment dog and needs regular activity to be his happiest self. He enjoys the company of other medium to large breed dogs, both male and female, but can also be the only dog in the home as long as his exercise needs are met. He's a great companion for school-aged children, a couple, or a single person who will include him in their daily life. Mondo is not to be tied out or have an electronic fence.

Mondo is up-to-date on all vaccinations, is heartworm negative, and is microchipped.
Training & Support
Mondo is already potty trained and crate trained. He knows basic commands and is very food motivated, making him eager to learn. While he hasn't had issues with fence climbing in his foster home, this was a concern at the shelter where he didn't receive as much exercise. Providing him with regular opportunities to run and play is key to his well-being and will help prevent any such behaviors. He rides well in the car without anxiety.
