Carlie

Hi there! I'm Carlie, a sweet and sassy girl estimated to be between 1 and 2 years old, and I'm on the lookout for my furever home! I had a bit of a rough start and ended up at a high-kill shelter in Texas, where I was sadly at risk of euthanasia. Thankfully, Hoardin Huskies swooped in and rescued me, and I promise I never want to go back!

While I was at the shelter, I discovered I absolutely love playing with other dogs at the play park. It was the highlight of my day! I generally get along with most other dogs. Humans are wonderful too, and I especially adore being petted and having my belly rubbed. I'm a happy girl with a little bit of sass and a sometimes bossy streak, but I'm just looking for my perfect match. Could that be with you?

Ideal Home

Carlie would love a home where she can continue to enjoy playtime with other dogs and receive plenty of human attention.

Ongoing Health

Carlie is heartworm positive. She has received a 1-year ProHeart Injection, which is a method for slowly treating heartworm.

Training & Support

Carlie is house-trained and gets along well with other dogs and children. As a sassy and sometimes bossy girl, she might benefit from continued positive reinforcement to help her settle into her new home.
