Huck

Huck is a slobbery, wrinkly, hot mess of a boy who is also soooo much fun! He loves cuddles and car rides, and his favorite things in the world are toys, walks, and especially treats. He'll do just about anything for a treat! This 60lb, short-statured pup is ready for his forever home.

Ideal Home

Huck needs a home without young children, as they make him nervous. He also needs a home that is comfortable utilizing a crate for training purposes. He is great with other dogs, but he will guard his food and needs to be fed separately and in a crate. He doesn't seem to notice cats.

Ongoing Health

Huck has been diagnosed with kidney failure. He is on medication to help manage his condition, but it is unknown how much time this sweet boy has left. We would love to see him live out whatever time he has left in a home of his own. Hospice fosters are also welcome.

Training & Support

Huck is mostly crate trained, with occasional accidents. He needs a home that is comfortable using a crate for training.
