Yuto is a shy, affectionate, and gentle 3-year-old male dog weighing about 6.5 lbs. He was rescued from a shelter in South Korea and then adopted, but sadly returned after his previous adopters divorced. Yuto is a loving dog who thrives on stability and affection. He can be a little hesitant in new environments, often seeking comfort under furniture until he feels secure. Once he trusts you, he enjoys gentle pets and will happily stay by your side. He is sensitive to loud noises and sudden movements, so a calm and gentle approach is best for him.
Ideal Home
Yuto would do best in a quiet, loving home that can provide him with patience and reassurance. He is not suited for loud or high-energy households, nor for homes with boisterous children. He would be a perfect fit for someone who cherishes gentle companionship and wants to offer a shy dog a safe and peaceful life. He would thrive in a calm household with adults or older, respectful children. Adopters who speak softly and move slowly to build trust, and can provide daily walks, affection, and time for him to settle in at his own pace, will be his ideal match. Loud or chaotic homes are not ideal for Yuto.
Ongoing Health
Yuto has fully recovered from bilateral patella surgery on both his hind legs and is currently healthy and active. He is up to date on monthly flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. He eats beef- and salmon-based dry food and has no known allergies.
Training & Support
Yuto is mostly house-trained, using indoor pads for about 60% of his urine and 40% for outdoor use, and outdoor for 90% of his bowel movements. He uses his crate voluntarily for rest and comfort. He is a very quiet dog with rare barking, and shows no signs of separation anxiety when left alone for up to 9 hours. He can be nervous around water but remains still when gently handled during baths. He is not toy-motivated and prefers calm affection over rough play, as he startles easily if play becomes too loud or energetic.

Transporation
Yuto can fly to the U.S. once a suitable family is matched and approved. All adoptions include a two-week trial and monitoring period to ensure the best possible fit and a smooth transition.
