Frankie is a fiercely loyal little guy with a huge heart and a strong preference for his person. At just 15 pounds, he’s a compact companion with a classic Rat Terrier personality: intelligent, spirited, and yes—a bit bossy! But if you’re a terrier-savvy person who understands and appreciates these traits, Frankie could be your ideal match. Frankie is the definition of a “one-person dog.” Once he chooses you, he loves with his whole heart. He bonds deeply and intensely, and he can be quite protective of that bond, which means he prefers a quiet home without too many new faces coming and going. He’s not the kind of dog who wants to make friends with everyone, and he doesn’t need to. He just needs you. Frankie especially adores men and does well with other dogs, particularly female terriers who speak his same spunky language.
