PUPPY 3

This sweet female Pointer mix puppy, affectionately known as Puppy 3, is a survivor! She and her littermates were found without their mother after a house fire. They arrived in critical condition, overheated and battling fleas and weakness, making their survival a true testament to their resilience. Puppy 3 has received excellent care, including flea baths, initial puppy vaccinations (distemper, parvo, and bordetella), flea medication, and deworming. She's now showing typical puppy behavior, but ongoing veterinary care for vaccinations will be essential.

Ideal Home

A home that understands the importance of continued veterinary care and a loving environment. If you have other dogs or children, a meet-and-greet is required to ensure everyone gets along.

Ongoing Health

Puppy 3 has received initial vaccinations and flea treatment. She is up-to-date on her deworming, with a second round administered due to persistent intestinal parasites. Continued vaccine care with your veterinarian is crucial.

Training & Support

As a young puppy, Puppy 3 will benefit from consistent training and socialization to help her grow into a well-adjusted companion.

Puppy 3 is currently located at New Hanover County Sheriff Animal Services Unit, 180 Division Drive, Wilmington, NC 28401. Adoption hours are Monday through Friday from 11:00 AM to 3:30 PM and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 11:30 AM.
