Meet Teddy, a happy, confident, and affectionate Vizsla who absolutely loves being with his people! He's the kind of dog who wants to be part of whatever you're doing, whether that's relaxing at home, spending time outdoors, or simply hanging out by your side. His sweet nature and easygoing personality make him a joy to be around. Teddy gets along wonderfully with men, women, children, and other dogs. He has never shown aggression toward people or other animals and is known for his friendly and loving disposition. While he has not been tested with cats, his hunting breed instincts may cause him to chase them, so a cat-free home would likely be the safest fit.
Ideal Home
Teddy would thrive in an active family committed to walks or hikes, as he'd love to be your exercise partner! He is a great companion that is up for whatever you want to do, whether that be walking, hiking, running, or simply watching a movie at home. A cat-free home is a must for Teddy's safety and happiness.
Ongoing Health
Teddy has been neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. He has also received ProHeart 12, providing a full year of heartworm prevention.
Training & Support
Teddy is crate trained and can comfortably stay in his crate for up to eight hours without accidents or destructive behavior. He is quiet and settles well in his crate. He is food and treat motivated and responds well to positive reinforcement. Teddy walks well on a leash but is still working on potty training and leash manners. His future family should be prepared to continue working on his leash manners, and with consistency and positive reinforcement, he is sure to excel.
