Archie

Archie is an approximately 10-month-old German Shepherd mix, weighing around 40–50 pounds. He has a sweet heart, a goofy personality, and so much love to give! Archie was found on the side of the road and likely dumped, as he had no microchip and no one came forward for him. Now, he's ready for a fresh start with a family who will cherish him. Archie is affectionate, gentle, and loves to be close to his people, often leaning in for cuddles. As a young dog, he's still learning his size and can be adorably clumsy at times!

Ideal Home

Archie would thrive in a loving home that can continue providing him with structure, guidance, and stability. He gets along well with children and other dogs but is not a fit for a home with cats.

Ongoing Health

Archie is up-to-date on vaccinations and neutered.

Training & Support

Archie is potty trained, crate trained, and walks nicely on a leash. He is mostly calm and quiet, though he may bark or yip with excitement during playful puppy bursts. He can be a bit anxious in the car and tends to pace. He should always ride securely as he may try to jump out of an open window. Archie's adoption includes the option to attend group behavior training classes.
