Princesa

Princesa is a charming 2-year-old Belgian Shepherd Mix who weighs around 27 lbs. She’s a young, playful, and joyful dog who absolutely adores her toys, loves receiving hugs, and thrives on being close to her people. Princesa is very social and thoroughly enjoys human company. When exploring new environments, she does so with enthusiastic excitement! She’s a sweet, affectionate pup brimming with positive energy.

Ideal Home

Princesa would do well in a home that appreciates her playful and affectionate nature. She is not good with cats and prefers to eat her meals without another dog approaching her food.

Ongoing Health

Princesa has received a spay/neuter certificate, vaccinations including DHPPI and Rabies, has been dewormed, and is microchipped. She has also tested negative for heartworm and has a health certificate. She is on monthly preventive medication for fleas, ticks, and heartworm (Nexgard Spectra).

Training & Support

Princesa barks to alert you to noises or when she wants something. It's important to understand that rescue dogs, like Princesa, may need an adjustment period to a new home due to past experiences. Patience, understanding, and a consistent routine will be crucial in helping her build trust and feel secure. She is not house-trained.

Transportation

Princesa is currently being fostered in Saltillo, Mexico, and is ready to travel to the East Coast on our next cross-country trip. Transport to the adopter's home address is available for an additional fee.
