Tundra is a resilient survivor, the last of six dogs rescued from Universal Mine after being dumped. She faced a challenging ordeal, requiring some to be trapped for their safety. Initially, Tundra was hesitant to trust, but with patience and care, she has blossomed into a loving companion. She may need a little extra time to adjust and feel secure in a new home.
Ideal Home
Tundra would thrive in a home with other sweet, confident dogs who can help her feel more at ease. A securely fenced yard is a must for her safety and peace of mind.
Ongoing Health
Tundra is up to date on all age-appropriate vaccinations, has been wormed, and is microchipped. She has been tested for heartworms and is kept on monthly flea and heartworm prevention.
Training & Support
Given her past experiences, Tundra may need a bit of extra time and understanding to fully trust and settle in. Having other dogs in the home will be very beneficial for her.
Application Details:
- Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
- The adoption donation is $200 cash. A check is acceptable for local adopters in Terre Haute with proof of residency.
- All dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, Bordetella vaccinated, wormed, and microchipped.
- Dogs over 7 months have been heartworm tested, and most are tested for heartworm, Lyme, Ehrlichia, and Anaplasmosis.
- Any other known medical issues have been treated or noted.
- Dogs are kept on monthly flea and heartworm prevention.
- We receive many inquiries and our volunteers have full-time jobs. Please allow 48 hours for a response before emailing again.

Transporation
Tundra is currently in Terre Haute, IN. We do attend adoption events in Terre Haute, IN at Petsmart. We can discuss transport options after your application is approved.
