Gandolf

Gandolf is a 5-year-old Dachshund/Chihuahua mix who is ready to shower his new family with love! He weighs around 11lbs and is a very sweet boy who just craves attention. Gandolf was rescued from a difficult situation where he, along with 15 other dogs, were living outside and desperately needed help. He came to us covered in fleas, infested with worms, and clearly starved for affection. Thankfully, he's been neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed, treated for fleas and ticks, tested heartworm negative, and microchipped. Gandolf would be perfectly happy as an only dog, but he does well with other dogs too, though he may need a little time to adjust. Please note, he is not a fan of cats. This little guy might need a male diaper for a short while as he gets used to being a cherished pet, but his capacity for love is immense.

Ideal Home

Gandolf needs a securely fenced yard. Wireless or underground invisible fences are not accepted.

Ongoing Health

Gandolf has been neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed, treated for fleas/ticks, and is heartworm negative. He has been microchipped. He may need a male diaper temporarily while adjusting to his new home.

Training & Support

Gandolf is still adjusting to life as a loved pet and may need a short period of adjustment with a male diaper. He does well with other dogs but will need time to acclimate. He is not a fan of cats.
