Tony

Tony is a 4-year-old Spaniel/Great Pyrenees mix, weighing in at a cuddly 62 pounds. He's a master of the gentle retreat, often peeking out from behind his favorite people. Tony is a shy and timid soul who finds the world a little overwhelming, but his curiosity often wins out, leading him to cautiously explore before returning to his safe haven.

Tony's early days as a COVID puppy meant he didn't get much exposure to the world, so people, dogs, and cats are still a bit of a mystery to him. He's slowly learning to navigate social situations, though. A calm, mellow canine companion might be a good fit, but energetic pups might be a bit too much for him. Tony is a bit scared of cats, but he's not aggressive; he's more likely to hide than to chase.

Ideal Home

Tony would thrive in a quiet home with a securely fenced yard where he can feel safe and confident as he learns the world isn't so scary. He would do best with teenagers and adults, as younger children can be a bit too unpredictable for his sensitive nature. His ultimate dream is a comfy sofa to snuggle on, close to his favorite people for gentle pets and tasty snacks.
