JJ II

Hi! My name is JJ II! I am a handsome 5 year old brown and white boy who ended up here due to changes in my family's dynamics. I'm described as friendly, active, smart, calm, protective, affectionate, and obedient! While I haven't lived with other dogs, I'm told I'm dog-friendly. I've never lived with a cat, so my compatibility with felines is unknown. I've lived happily with children aged 9 and 16, and I'm known for being gentle and loving with them. I'm house-trained, know basic commands, and I'm a well-behaved boy who sleeps soundly on his dog bed. I'm also comfortable being alone at times and remain calm while waiting for my humans to return. When I'm outdoors, I'm a good boy who respects boundaries and stays where I'm supposed to. I do get a bit fearful of fireworks and other loud noises, and I'll look for comfort when they happen. I absolutely love car rides, chewing on my toys, playing fetch, lounging with a favorite toy, spending time with my family, being around people, receiving attention, a calm environment, and going outside for adventures!
