Astro (27lb)

Astro is a 2-year-old, 25lb Heeler/Chi mix with a heart full of love and a personality to match! He was found alone and scared in a rough neighborhood in Texas, but a kind volunteer opened her home and heart to him. Now, Astro is fully vetted, knows his wonderful personality, and is ready to find his forever family. He's eager to please, house-trained, crate-trained, and leash-trained, making him a well-behaved companion. Astro is incredibly food, toy, and treat motivated, which makes training a joy. He loves to be your number one pup and is also a fan of quiet cuddles. Astro currently lives with 10 other dogs and gets along well with them, but he does have a bit of a "little man" complex and may occasionally nip at other male dogs when competing for treats or attention.

Astro is eager to please and highly motivated by treats and toys, making him a fantastic candidate for continued training. He may occasionally nip at male dogs when competing for treats or attention, so a home that can manage this with positive reinforcement will be ideal.

Transporation

Astro is currently in Texas but is available for transport to out-of-state adopters. Private transport with K9 Delivery LLC can be arranged for $200, which includes a health certificate, vet exam, and transportation to your area.
