Meet Freckles!
Freckles is an adorable, one-year-old Shih Tzu who recently joined Dusty Tails Animal Rescue after coming from a very heartbreaking situation. While we won't share all of the details of where she came from, we're incredibly thankful that we were able to step in and give her the fresh start she deserves. Every dog we save has to have somewhere safe to go first. Because one family chose to foster, Freckles was able to leave her past behind and begin her journey toward a brighter future. It's a beautiful reminder that fostering truly saves lives. Freckles is the outgoing girl with the cutest little personality! She's sweet, affectionate, and has done wonderfully with both other dogs and cats in her foster home. She loves being around her people and is soaking up all the love she's missed out on. After everything she's been through, Freckles is finally getting to experience soft beds, full bellies, kindness, and the simple joy of just being a dog. She is going to make an incredible companion for one very lucky family. We are so grateful to the foster family who made her rescue possible.
