Hubert

Hubert is a handsome male mixed breed, estimated to be between 5-7 years old and weighing around 70lbs. He was rescued from Hamilton Animal Services and is currently being fostered in Oshawa. Hubert is the ultimate people dog, with a heart as big as his smile. He'll snuggle up to you the moment you meet him and lean in for pets. He has a playful and curious energy, loves squeaky toys, lick mats, and backyard ball time. Hubert is a quick learner and already knows sit, paw, touch, place, wait, spin, and down. He greets his people with a wagging tail and bright eyes, making every day feel warmer. Hubert is a well-mannered gentleman at home; he is house-trained, non-destructive, and happy to relax while his foster is at work. He trots into his crate without a fuss at bedtime, knowing a treat awaits.

Ideal Home

Hubert would thrive with an adopter who appreciates his affectionate nature and playful energy. He's best suited as an only pet, ideally in a home with adults or older kids who understand dog boundaries. A quieter neighborhood with a backyard would be ideal for him.

Hubert is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccinations.

Training & Support

Hubert is working on leash reactivity toward dogs and bikes, so he'll do best with someone patient and confident handling a strong walker. He can also be protective of food and toys.
