Hooper (bonded with Hannah)

Hooper, a 13-year-old smooth red miniature dachshund weighing 11 lbs, is a mellow and easygoing companion with just the right amount of dachshund sass to make any house feel like a home. He came to us following a divorce and is now ready for his next chapter. Hooper is funny and quirky, utterly easygoing at his core, and more than ready to find a quiet, loving place to settle in. He shares a special bond with his emotional support friend, Hannah, a 9-year-old dachshund, and they must be adopted together.

Ideal Home

Hooper is a low-key, contented soul who enjoys his walks and is most content with his buddy Hannah around. While he doesn't need a fenced yard, it would be a great addition for him to explore at his own pace. Hooper is a bit chatty, especially when greeting people, so a home without shared walls would be the best fit.

Ongoing Health

Hooper is a senior dog and is being adopted as-is.

Training & Support

Hooper is potty trained with a routine schedule. He is friendly with strangers once he's made his initial greeting announcement. He is relaxed and easy with all other dogs his size, but should not go to a home with large dogs (40lbs+). He is a good eater and loves treats. Hooper needs to be adopted with his foster-mate Hannah, as she is his best support!
