Toffee

Toffee is a delightful 9-month-old, 40 lb mixed breed, likely a Vizsla mix, with the softest eyes and the sweetest soul. She's a happy, playful, and affectionate girl at home who loves to romp with other dogs, play hard, and then settle in for cozy cuddle time. Toffee is dog and cat friendly, house and crate trained, and thrives in a predictable routine where she feels safe. While new environments can initially make her timid, she's made great strides in building her confidence with patience and encouragement, and she's learning to embrace the adventures the outside world offers.

Ideal Home

Toffee would thrive in a home with a confident, well-adjusted adult dog, as she enjoys playing with canine companions. A patient, understanding family willing to continue building her confidence is essential. Her ideal home would not have an infant or toddler, and prefers children 10+ years old who are dog-savvy. She is not comfortable around small dogs or puppies, despite her own size.

Ongoing Health

Toffee has shown some drooling during car rides, though she recovers quickly upon arrival at her destination.

Training & Support

Toffee is house and crate trained. She has been working on her confidence in new environments and in car rides. While she now willingly enters the car and understands it means adventure, continued patience and encouragement will be beneficial as she continues to grow. She is learning to love the outside world and the adventures it brings.
