Scout

Scout is a handsome 3-year-old mini dachshund with a love for fetch, naps, and tasty treats! He's a ball of energy who enjoys a good game of fetch, but be warned, he'll keep going long after you're tired. When he's not playing, he's happily snoozing. Scout is a well-mannered pup who is potty trained, crate trained, and walks nicely on a leash. He's quite athletic and loves to show off his skills. Scout is deaf and is currently learning to communicate with hand signs.

Ideal Home

Scout would do best as the only dog in the home. He doesn't like being left alone all day, so a home where someone is around is ideal. He needs a physically fenced yard to keep him safe and happy. Scout is not a fan of young children.

Scout is deaf.

Training & Support

Scout is still learning and will benefit from a patient owner who can continue his socialization and communication training with hand signs. Lots of walks and fetch will keep this athletic boy happy and engaged.
