Pops

Pops is the absolute sweetest 10-year-young husky mix with plenty of energy for long walks in nature. He loves to explore and can keep up with the best of them! While he previously lived with other dogs, he's become a bit selective since arriving. We're planning to conduct further dog testing to better understand his interactions. For now, we believe he'd do best as an only dog or possibly with a laid-back female companion, but this may change as we learn more about him. He's a master squirrel hunter and should definitely not live with cats or other small animals, but he'll certainly keep your home rodent-free! Pops is house-trained and adores every person he meets. He's looking for a wonderful retirement home where he can enjoy plenty of snuggles and adventures with his favorite humans. In true husky fashion, Pops needs a securely fenced yard and shouldn't be left unsupervised outdoors for extended periods, as he's quite agile and can be motivated to scale fences by exciting sights like squirrels. A home where someone is present most of the time would be ideal for him.

Pops would thrive in a home with a securely fenced yard and a human who is home more than not. He should not live with cats or small animals.

Pops is a senior dog who is spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Pops appears to be house-trained. He is agile and can be motivated to jump fences, so supervision is recommended when he is outdoors.
