Meet Flacko! This handsome 8-month-old German Shepherd Dog mix weighs around 40lbs and is already neutered. Flacko is a certified good boy who absolutely adores people and other dogs. He's even trying his best to make friends with the foster cat, though his enthusiasm might be a bit much for some kitties. Flacko is a quick learner and is eager to please his forever family. He had a blast in Doggie Daycare Playgroups, earning an A++! He enjoys snuggling with smaller puppy friends and has been wonderful with his foster's 10-year-old nephew, showing he'd likely enjoy a human sibling to play with. After playtime, Flacko loves to cuddle and show off his belly. He's also a huge fan of pool time and entertaining himself with his favorite toys. Flacko is house-trained and crate-trained, and he's ready to win your heart!
Ideal Home
Flacko would do well in a home with or without children, but he would need to be supervised around smaller children due to his puppy exuberance, like jumping and leash pulling. He enjoys playing with dogs of all sizes and has shown he can respect their boundaries. While he's hopeful about making friends with cats, his high energy might be overwhelming for them.
Ongoing Health
Flacko is a healthy young pup. As with any puppy, he is still learning manners and may have occasional accidents.
Training & Support
Flacko is working on his puppy manners, including jumping and pulling on the leash. An experienced adopter who can help him navigate the world with confidence will be key to his continued success.

Transporation
Flacko is currently in a foster home in Houston, TX. He can be transported out of state once an approved adopter is found. Transports run every few weeks and he will be on the next available transport once approved.
