Winky

Winky, a delightful approximately one-year-old pup, is looking for her forever home! She was found as a scared, hairless dog who had recently had a litter, and her resemblance to a little house elf earned her the name Winky. After some time in a loving foster home, she's blossomed into a playful, curious, and affectionate companion. She even gets along wonderfully with her foster siblings, including a house rabbit! Winky is still a bit shy around new people and may express her nervousness by hiding, barking, or howling, but she is learning quickly and with patience and continued positive reinforcement, she will surely gain confidence. She is a sweet, silly girl who is ready to leave her rough past behind and embrace a safe, happy life with a loving family.

Winky has been spayed, is up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines, and has had a vet check and heartworm test.

Winky is house-trained. She needs continued support to overcome her nervousness around strangers. Patient guidance and positive reinforcement will be key to her continued success.
