Zeke is an 11-week-old Shepherd mix with a heart full of playfulness! He's an active and social pup who loves to wrestle with his toys and enjoys a good run. Zeke was rescued by LHAR with the help of an organization in rural West Virginia. We believe he might be a Shepherd/Brussels Griffon mix, but we don't have confirmed information about his parents. He currently weighs about 10-15 lbs and is expected to be a medium-sized dog when fully grown.

Ideal Home

Zeke would thrive in a home where someone is present at least half of the workday. It's not healthy for a puppy to be left alone for 5 or more hours a day. We require all current pets in the household to be up to date on vaccinations and to be spayed/neutered, and veterinary references will be contacted.

Ongoing Health

Zeke has received age-appropriate vaccinations and dewormings. He will need to be spayed/neutered by the adopter at their chosen veterinary clinic. Once the procedure is complete and documentation is provided to LHAR, a $100 spay/neuter deposit refund will be issued.

Training & Support

Zeke is a puppy who loves to play and learn! He's still young and will benefit from continued socialization and consistent training to help him grow into a well-adjusted adult dog.

• We require that someone be in the home or work from home half of the workday throughout the work week.

Zeke will be available at Petsmart, 5401 Urbana Pike, Frederick, MD, on July 12th from 11 AM to 3 PM.
