About Josh

Hi there! I'm Josh, a 12-week-old, 15-pound male Lab mix pup with a heart full of love and a tail ready to wag its way into your life! I recently made the big trip all the way from Puerto Rico with my brothers, Jax and Jackson, and now I'm on the lookout for my forever family. My foster mom says I'm a sweet, playful, and happy boy who's just bursting with wiggly fun. I'm currently living with my foster family, who have some experienced foster fails and another puppy who is also seeking her forever home. I love to play with my foster siblings, and my favorite game involves trying to "borrow" their toys! I'm also quite the escape artist when it comes to naptime, though I usually only succeed for a few minutes. My days are filled with about two hours of playtime followed by twice as much napping, and I sleep soundly for ten hours at night. I'm working on my "sit" command and my house manners, and I'm eager to learn even more!

Ideal Home

I'm looking for a family who will take me on sniffy walks, go on adventures, and enroll me in dog school so I can show off how smart I am. After a fun-filled day, I'll need plenty of pets, cuddles, and belly rubs. Of course, good quality kibble and a comfy dog bed are a must! Most importantly, I want to feel safe and loved. My foster family has other dogs and is teaching me about life in a house, so I should do well with other pets and kids with patience and proper training.

Ongoing Health

As a young puppy, I've had my age-appropriate vaccines, but I'm not fully vaccinated yet. It's important that my new family ensures I receive my remaining puppy vaccines on schedule. Until I'm fully vaccinated, I'll be at a higher risk for illness. I also haven't been spayed or neutered yet, but this will need to be completed by September 15, 2026, as per the adoption contract.

Training & Support

I'm currently working on learning to sit and improving my house manners. I'll need continued house training and obedience school to help me grow into a well-socialized pup.
