Kelso

Kelso’s story is truly heartbreaking, but despite everything he’s been through, he’s an absolutely amazing dog! He was adopted as a puppy, but sadly, he was abandoned at a veterinary clinic just before Christmas. Thankfully, we were able to bring him back to safety. Kelso is a resilient and loving companion who has lived successfully with young children, other dogs, and even chickens! He's house-trained, kennel-trained, and walks beautifully on a leash. He's an easygoing fellow who truly loves everyone he meets, knows his basic commands, and is a joy to have around. Kelso enjoys walks, relaxing indoors or outdoors, and most of all, spending time with his people. He’s not a demanding dog; he simply wishes for a family who will cherish him and never abandon him again.

Kelso would thrive in a home that can offer him the stability and love he deserves. He has a history of success with children, other dogs, and even chickens, so he could potentially fit into a variety of household dynamics.

Ongoing Health

Kelso is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. He is also heartworm negative.

Training & Support

Kelso is house-trained, kennel-trained, and walks beautifully on a leash. He knows his basic commands and is described as easygoing.
