Kenai

Meet Kenai, a sweet and gentle mixed breed between 2-4 years old. Kenai's past was heartbreaking; she was found as a stray with a chain and trap dragging behind her. After being safely captured, it was discovered she had a foothold trap on her front foot, causing extensive injuries that necessitated amputation. Despite this trauma, Kenai is now safe with us and is bravely adapting to life as a tripod. She is a friendly, loving, smart girl who gets along well with other dogs. We are committed to ensuring the rest of Kenai's life is the best of her life.

Ongoing Health

Kenai's leg was amputated due to extensive injuries. She is currently recovering and learning to navigate as a tripod.

Training & Support

Transporation

Kenai is located in South Carolina and we provide transport to the northeast weekly. Applicants not located along the East Coast should be willing to travel to pick up their pet. We offer local or virtual meet-and-greets with an application on file.
