Bear

Bear is a sweet and playful 3-month-old puppy who weighs 8 pounds. His mother is a small dog, so we expect Bear to remain a small adult, likely around 16 pounds. Bear was born into a loving foster home after his pregnant mother was surrendered to a shelter we support in rural South Texas. He has completed all his necessary veterinary care and is now ready to find his forever family!

Ideal Home

Bear has done great with children as young as 6 and loves to play with other dogs. He has also shown no aggression towards cats, making him a potentially wonderful addition to a multi-pet household.

Ongoing Health

Bear is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on all his vaccinations, including rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella. He is also heartworm negative and currently on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.

Training & Support

Bear is listed as house-trained.
