Meet Mochi! If you're looking for a fun-loving adventure buddy, Mochi is ready to keep up! At just 6 months old, this smart, athletic puppy is full of energy, curiosity, and enthusiasm for life. Mochi absolutely loves other dogs and approaches every new canine friend with an invitation to play. She reads social cues well and takes corrections from other dogs respectfully, making her a great playmate. She has also done well with both men and women. Like many young puppies, she can get a little bouncy and mouthy when she's excited, but she's learning and responds well to guidance. This clever girl already knows sit, back, drop it, no, and kennel, and she's eager to learn even more. She's an excellent walker once she gets moving, happily staying by your side with very little effort. She's even learning to sit when her person stops! Wildlife like squirrels, rabbits, and ducks can still be a little too exciting, but she's making great progress with her impulse control. Mochi loves chasing and retrieving balls and toys, making her an ideal companion for someone who enjoys hiking, jogging, or eventually even biking with their dog. She thrives on both physical exercise and mental challenges, so an active home that can keep her engaged will help her shine. She's making progress with potty training and lets her foster know when she needs to go outside. Mochi also isn't shy about letting you know when she's ready to come out of her kennel! She does protest when left alone and, like most energetic puppies her age, isn't ready to have free roam of the house when unsupervised. A crate is currently her best friend when no one is home. If you're ready for a loyal sidekick who's equal parts brains, athleticism, and goofy puppy fun, Mochi is waiting to meet you!
Ideal Home
A home without cats would likely be the best fit unless proper introductions and testing can be done, due to her strong prey drive.
