Onyx Baby is a delightful 7-month-old pit bull mix, weighing in at 33 lbs, who is sure to steal your heart with his incredibly sweet personality and adorable puppy-dog eyes. He's a rescue, so while we believe he's a pittie mix, we can't guarantee breed or age. Onyx Baby is a social butterfly who gets along wonderfully with all dogs, from dominant males and females to shy pups and playful companions. He matches their energy, happy to engage in playtime or simply relax alongside them, making him the perfect little brother figure for any canine household. He also showed great respect towards a resident cat, making him a potential candidate for a multi-species home.
Ideal Home
Onyx Baby would thrive in a home with a fenced backyard where he can play and explore, but he's equally happy being a couch potato for movie marathons and snuggles. We haven't assessed him with children yet, but based on his gentle nature, we believe he would make a wonderful family dog. We are happy to conduct any tests needed to ensure a perfect match.

Training & Support
Onyx Baby already knows basic commands like "sit" and is very gentle when taking treats. He's eager to please, making him a smart and trainable companion. He is crate trained and mostly potty trained, though he may have occasional accidents if left alone for extended periods.

Onyx Baby is currently located in Texas. We facilitate nationwide adoptions using our USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. Canadian adopters can pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. You can track your pet's journey in real-time and receive photo updates. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
