Dori

Dori is a sweet, affectionate girl who is ready to find a family of her own. She loves spending time with her people and enjoys nothing more than being outside playing with a ball or rope toy. Whether she's splashing in the water, going for a walk, or soaking up the sunshine, Dori is happiest when she's active and engaged.

Dori walks nicely on leash and is making great progress with her confidence. She can still be a little timid when passing strangers, but with patience, encouragement, and continued exposure, she's already showing that she's capable of overcoming her fears. She's very treat-motivated, which makes training both fun and rewarding.

This smart girl is currently learning basic commands like sit and stay, and she already has a great recall foundation—she'll happily come when you whistle or point to the ground. Dori eats and drinks well and is doing well with her house training. While she's still learning the routine, she keeps her kennel clean and is making steady progress. She does best when given a distraction-free potty break, as toys can sometimes be more exciting than the task at hand!

Dori has done well meeting other dogs in neutral environments and while on leash. At this time, her compatibility with cats and children is unknown.
