Daisy Sue is a 2-year-old, 35-pound spayed female, Pointer/Australian Cattle dog mix with a heart full of love and a tail that never stops wagging! She was rescued from a euthanasia list and is now ready for her second chance at a happy life. Affectionately nicknamed "Dollop of Daisy," she's a bundle of joy, playfulness, and sweetness. You'll love her adorable zoomies and her happy-go-lucky spirit.
Ideal Home
Daisy would thrive in an active home with another friendly dog (strongly preferred) to be her playmate. She'd also love a securely fenced yard for her zoomies and yard patrol. Children 10 years or older who understand how to respect a shy dog would be a great fit. She can be left loose in the house when alone, but keep your shoes put away as she finds them fascinating! A calm home with a predictable routine is preferred over a busy household with lots of visitors.
Ongoing Health
Daisy is generally healthy and has been spayed.
Training & Support
Daisy is a smart girl who has already learned a lot! She is fully house-trained with zero accidents, walks beautifully on leash and is not reactive, and is crate-trained. She has no issues with resource guarding and shares toys and treats politely. She is very food motivated, which makes training even easier and fun! She can be shy when meeting new people, especially men, and may bark or keep her distance initially. With patience, gentle voices, and a little space, she warms up and reveals her affectionate, cuddly nature.
