Pete

Pete is a sweet, shy boy with big eyes and an even bigger heart. He was born on February 14, 2026, and had a rough start to life, being found in a basement with his siblings. Thankfully, that difficult time is behind him, and he's now safe, fed, and learning just how wonderful human connection can be. Pete is a mix of Australian Shepherd and Pit, which promises a future of intelligence, loyalty, and a deep bond with his people. As a puppy, he's full of wobbly-legged charm, enjoying playtime, chewing, and then happily snoozing wherever he drifts off. Pete thrives on closeness and will settle right in when picked up. He's discovering that people are good and is eager for a patient and loving adopter to continue showing him this every day.

Pete is looking for a patient and loving home where he can continue to learn that people are good. He enjoys being close to his people and will settle in nicely when held.

Ongoing Health

Pete is up-to-date on vaccinations. He has not yet been spayed or neutered, as he is still a puppy.

Training & Support

As a puppy, Pete enjoys playing, chewing, and exploring. He is learning to trust people and will benefit from continued positive reinforcement and socialization.
