For an entire year, Chiquita knew only confinement on a tiny patio, with no access to the outdoors. Despite this difficult past, she has blossomed into a gentle, loving companion who melts into your arms. This beautiful girl has a way of stealing hearts the moment you meet her.

Chiquita would thrive in a quiet home where she can feel safe and secure. She is fearful of traffic and loud noises, so a peaceful environment is essential for her well-being. She is good with kids and also does well with other dogs, making her a wonderful addition to a family.

Transporation

Chiquita is located near Bucerias, Mexico. We facilitate adoptions to the US and Canada, often by matching approved adopters with volunteer flight companions traveling from Puerto Vallarta. You will meet your new furry friend at the airport upon their arrival. If a Canadian flight companion is unavailable during the summer, your pup may fly into the US and be picked up at the Peace Arch Park at the border. We have a dedicated network of volunteers who assist with transport to the border to ensure smooth transitions for our pups and their new families.
