Hi, I’m Brownie!

I’m about 1 year old and I’m 100% adorable, though some think I might be a terrier/Corgi mix. My coat is a beautiful ombré of brown with a silvery undertone, and my eyes are the softest brown-gold you’ve ever seen. If I'm on a schedule, I'm potty trained, and my foster family is working on teaching me to ring a bell. I already know "sit" and "leave it," and I'm eager to learn more, especially kennel training. I feel most comfortable in my kennel when I can see my people or when I'm near other dogs, as I like to feel included. One of my favorite pastimes is playing hide-and-seek with treats – I'm a tiny detective!

Ideal Home

I'm a bit of an athlete and a curious escape artist, so I'll need a home with double gates if you want to keep me in a specific room. I must always be on a leash when outside, and in the car if I'm not in my kennel, due to my curiosity.

Ongoing Health

My adoption fee includes a full veterinary exam, spay, a prepaid microchip, deworming, age-appropriate vaccines (rabies, distemper combo, Bordetella), 4DX test (if over 6 months), and flea/tick/heartworm preventative.

Training & Support

I'm working on kennel training and learning to use a bell for potty breaks. I might "borrow" items like socks or shoes, but it's just because they smell like you, and I love you! Loud, unfamiliar noises can make me nervous, so I appreciate a little reassurance.
