Dollop of Daisy, affectionately nicknamed Dollop of Daisy, is a 2-year-old, 35-pound spayed female Pointer/Australian Cattle dog mix. She's a bundle of personality who brings joy, playfulness, and sweetness everywhere she goes. Daisy was rescued from a euthanasia list after being returned to a shelter, and she's so deserving of a loving, forever home. With her adorable zoomies, affectionate cuddles, and happy-go-lucky love of other dogs, Daisy is the kind of pup who will make every day brighter. She is a smart and well-mannered girl who is fully house-trained, walks beautifully on leash, and is crate-trained. She has no issues with resource guarding and shares toys and treats politely. Daisy can be shy when meeting new people, especially men, but with patience and gentle voices, she warms up and reveals her affectionate, cuddly nature. Once she trusts you, Daisy loves evening couch snuggles and being close to her favorite people.
Ideal Home
Daisy would thrive in a home that offers another friendly dog for companionship (strongly preferred), an active lifestyle with regular exercise or a securely fenced yard, and children 10 years or older who understand how to respect a shy dog. She can be left loose in the house when alone and is not destructive, but keep shoes picked up as she finds them fascinating! She would do best in a calm home with a predictable routine rather than a busy household with lots of visitors.
Ongoing Health
Daisy is spayed and up to date on vaccinations. No specific health conditions are mentioned.
Training & Support
Daisy is fully house-trained, walks beautifully on leash and is not reactive to dogs, runners, or people, and is crate-trained. She has no issues with resource guarding and is very food motivated, which makes training easier and fun. Due to her sensitive nature, she would benefit from a calm environment and a predictable routine.
