COOKIE

Cookie is a sweetheart of a gal who thoroughly enjoys nice, slow walks. She's been a bit timid in the shelter while she learns a new routine, but with time and patience, she's sure to blossom into a confident companion. Of course, she's easy on leash since she likes to amble along! Cookie is non-reactive down the kennel line and with passing dogs, though slow intros are always recommended. She enjoys slow pets and butt scratches, and her gorgeous green eyes will melt your heart. Loud noises tend to scare her, and she's not a big fan of treats or toys currently, but give her time – she may grow to like them! She does pull quite hard towards the trail cats, so a secure yard would be beneficial.

A home that understands and appreciates a more timid dog, offering a calm and predictable environment. A secure yard would be beneficial due to her prey drive towards cats.

Cookie is spayed and up to date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Cookie can be a bit timid and startles at loud noises. She is still learning to appreciate toys and treats. She pulls towards cats and will need continued leash training and redirection.
