Summer

Summer is a sweet 7-year-old pup whose world was turned upside down when her family lost their housing. She was surrendered to a shelter, which was a scary experience for her, and she sustained some injuries trying to get back to her family. Thankfully, Miracle Lane Farm Sanctuary stepped in and brought her to a foster home, where she's now settling in and ready to find her forever family.

Summer is a very affectionate and loving dog who is super accepting of new people. She loves cheese and enjoys showing off her tricks to earn it. She does well with older children and cats, but she dislikes sharing attention with other dogs, so a home where she can be the only canine companion would be ideal. She enjoys all kinds of walks and loves to play with rope toys for short bursts before settling in for a nap. Summer is a well-behaved pup who doesn't bark at strange sounds or strangers. She is fully potty trained, lets her humans know when she needs to go out, walks well on a leash, and comes when called. She does get sad when left alone, but her foster family is helping her work through this.

Ideal Home

Summer would thrive in a home with older children and cats. She would prefer to be the only dog in the household.
