Bella

Bella is a one-year-old mixed breed weighing just over 40 pounds, and she’s proof that the sweetest dogs often come in the most unique packages. She loves being around people and has a gentle, affectionate personality. Bella previously lived with cats along with her sister, Luna, and she seemed to be the more cat-friendly of the two sisters, though slow introductions are necessary to set both up for the most success. Bella is also crate trained, making the transition into a new family a little easier. Bella has spent her entire life with her sister, Luna, and although they do not have to be adopted together, we’d love to see them continue their journey side by side. Bella especially looks to Luna for confidence and comfort, making their relationship truly special.

Ongoing Health

Bella has a few medical quirks that make her extra special. She has alopecia, is being treated for an ear infection and an upper respiratory infection, and may continue to have a runny nose due to past complications with her mouth. She also has a benign mass near her rectum that will need monitoring over time. None of this slows her down, she’ll simply appreciate an occasional nose wipe and a family that loves her exactly as she is.
