Blitz

Say hello to Blitz! This Shepherd mix is about 2 years old and came to us as a stray. He spent a month in a foster home and came back to us due to incompatibility in their house. In that time, we learned more about him, and we are now more equipped to find him the right forever home. He is a medium-to-high energy, sweet, and loving dog ready to meet his new paw-rent(s)!

Ideal Home

Blitz would thrive in a home that can keep up with his medium-to-high energy needs and appreciate his adventurous spirit. He previously did well with other dogs, busy stores, loud vehicles, and children, demonstrating confidence and gentleness. However, he can play rough with other dogs, so he would do best with dogs his size and those tolerant of vocal play. He does not do well with cats.

Ongoing Health

Blitz has been vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Blitz responds well to clicker training and did great with crating and grooming in his previous foster home. He has good leash manners on a collar or harness. Since returning to our care, we've noticed slight barrier reactivity with other dogs that wasn't observed before.
