This handsome boy is KING, a 6-8 year old Lab mix with energy to spare and a heart of gold! He's a 10 out of 10 on the energy scale, always ready for an adventure. KING is a well-rounded companion, friendly with people, kids, and other dogs, though he hasn't been cat-tested. He's not a high-maintenance dog and has good common sense, responding well to commands like "crate" and "quiet." While he's generally quiet, he will bark to alert you to anything unusual. KING enjoys his meals and treats but doesn't have a high prey drive. He's sweet and gentle, and while not overly affectionate, his face rubs are sure to melt your heart.

Ongoing Health

KING is a survivor and was found after being hit by a car. He has physical scars from this incident, but they do not affect his overall health or his ability to live a full life.

Training & Support

KING is crate and house-trained and will let you know when he needs to go outside. He doesn't suffer from storm or separation anxiety. He has chewed a plastic water bowl in the past, so metal bowls are recommended.
