BROCK- Needs a foster/forever home!

Brock is a handsome Dutch Shepherd mix with an estimated birth year of 2022. He was found with three other dogs in an abandoned, burned-out house in Detroit. Brock is energetic, loves walks, and is great on a leash. He also enjoys cuddling and would make a fantastic running partner! He's a very smart boy who is treat-motivated and has shown he can do well with other dogs after a slow introduction.

Ideal Home

Brock needs a home with children 12 years old or older; he cannot be in a home with small children. He requires a totally enclosed, physically fenced yard where he can safely run, play, and hang out with his people.

Ongoing Health

Brock was found to be heartworm positive but has completed his treatment. He will require monthly heartworm preventative for the rest of his life. He is neutered, up to date on his vaccinations, and is on heartworm preventative.

Training & Support

Brock is house and crate trained. He is a smart, treat-motivated boy. He will be required to attend one obedience class (6-week session) outside the home.
