Suegra, which means "mother-in-law" in Spanish, was living at The Thriving Dog ranch before joining our family. She's been with us for about a year now, and we're so excited to help her find her forever guardians in the US! Suegra is a sweet, affectionate Border Collie/Cattle dog mix, around 25-30 pounds with a thick coat. She loves to play when she's not feeling threatened by larger dogs and can often be found napping on a comfy bed. Suegra is a little reserved, but she really opens up when she's around dogs her own size and temperament. She's house-trained, walks "ok" on a leash, and doesn't seem to mind car rides. While she has working breed genes, she's surprisingly laid-back and easygoing, making her a wonderful companion for both relaxed and active homes. Suegra would love to join you on all sorts of adventures, from hiking and beach trips to simply running errands.
Ideal Home
Suegra would do well in a home that is both relaxed and active. She thrives when she's not around larger, more dominant dogs.
Ongoing Health
Suegra is sterilized, fully vaccinated, up-to-date on anti-parasite and flea/tick medications, and has been tested for heartworm and Lyme disease. She has also received a complete blood panel.
Training & Support
Suegra is house-trained and walks "ok" on a leash. She shows no signs of anxiety in the car.
