About Maple Portillo

Meet Maple, a sweet, silly, and affectionate 1-year-old Rottweiler mix who is bursting with puppy love! She’s currently living in a foster home with other big dogs and fits right in, enjoying wrestling, chasing, and cuddling with her furry siblings. Maple also lives with children and does wonderfully with them, making her a great candidate for a family. However, she would also be perfectly content as the loyal best friend of a solo adopter. Maple is playful, affectionate, and absolutely adores toys, especially the squeakier, the better! Whether she’s romping around with dog friends or curled up at your feet, Maple is full of love and ready to share it. If you're looking for a fun-loving, cuddle-ready companion who will grow up by your side, Maple is your girl.

Ideal Home

Maple would be happy in a family environment or with a solo adopter. She does great with kids and other big dogs.

Ongoing Health

Maple has no current health conditions noted. All vetting, including vaccinations, spay/neuter, and microchip, is included in the adoption fee.

Training & Support

Maple is a young dog with plenty of puppy energy. She is in a rescue program that provides behavioral assessments, training, and individualized behavior plans, including crate training, potty training, and leash walking.

Transporation

Maple is currently located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions across the US through our own internal transport on USDA licensed vehicles. Transport is available to WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, and Canada. Canadian adopters will need to pick up in Bellingham, WA or Brattleboro, VT. There is an additional $87 surcharge for transport.
