Princess is a funny, goofy, joyful lap dog who is looking for her forever family! She's about 1.5 years old and weighs around 67 lbs. She loves walks, bacon treats, and chew toys. Princess was surrendered by her previous owner because she wasn't getting along with a new puppy. Despite her owner's claims, shelter staff and volunteers have found her to be very playful and doing well with other dogs, especially younger and more playful ones. She takes corrections easily and has shown submissive behavior when needed. Princess had some wounds on her ears, which may have been from the puppy. She's a Bully breed blend and would benefit from a family who will love and be kind to her.

Ideal Home

Princess would love a home with a family or person who will cherish her. She enjoys the company of other dogs and has done well in playgroups. She is also good with respectful children. While she was surrendered due to issues with a puppy, shelter staff believe she could do well with other dogs, potentially larger ones over toy breeds, and has played well with both males and females. Further testing would be needed to determine her compatibility with cats and other small animals.

Ongoing Health

All rescue dogs are vaccinated, altered, and micro-chipped. Princess had some wounds on her ears, which have been addressed.

Training & Support

Princess knows basic commands and is house and leash trained. She would benefit from a round of positive reinforcement training classes to brush up on her commands and to help bond with her new family.
