Miss Bagel is a sweet, young female dog who was found in the country after being hit by a car. The sheriffs called us, and when we arrived, she was walking on her front two legs with her hindquarters in the air, not putting any weight on her back legs. She had a very badly broken leg that required amputation. Bagel is now a tripod and is adjusting wonderfully! She seems to like male dogs. Though she appears young, she is remarkably calm and well-behaved. Bagel is an incredibly smart dog who knows how to be gentle. She can be protective of her loved ones and is very quiet. Because of this, she would thrive in a household where she can receive abundant love and attention. She has endured a lot and is seeking a home where she can feel safe and secure. She would benefit from a patient owner who will allow her to open up at her own pace.
