Buzz is a young, energetic pup who is eager for structure and clear boundaries. He has a lot of zest for life, and when he doesn't have an outlet for his energy, he can become a bit antsy. Buzz takes a little time to warm up to new people, but his food motivation makes training a breeze, and once he accepts you, you'll have a loyal best friend!
Ideal Home
Buzz would thrive in a home with a fenced yard for games of fetch or an active household that enjoys long walks and hikes. He would also benefit from attending training classes, perhaps even exploring scent work or agility. Buzz has been reported to do well with cats, ignoring them in a previous home and even allowing them to rub on him. He has also done well with other social dogs, though he can play a bit roughly at times, he's also content just coexisting. Given his current pent-up energy, we feel he would do best in a home without young children at this time.

Buzz's adoption donation includes Spay/Neuter, Vaccinations, deworming, and flea treatment.
Training & Support
Buzz is very treat-motivated, which makes training enjoyable and effective. He is currently in a board and train program to refine his manners and social skills. He has previously completed a basic training class and excelled with confident handlers. However, in new environments, he needs support to maintain focus on his handler, otherwise, he can become a bit bossy. Buzz is looking for a home that will continue his training journey, including follow-up sessions with his current trainer.

Buzz is currently located in Lockport, NY 14094. We adopt and foster locally only, within an approximately 55-mile radius of Lockport, NY. We do not adopt to Canada due to border restrictions and breed-specific legislation.
