Fido

Fido is a wonderful 7-year-old boy who came to us as a stray. He's a friendly fellow who gets along well with other dogs and is also good with kids! Fido is ready to find his forever family and bring them years of joy.

Ideal Home

Fido would thrive in a home where he can be part of the family. While we don't have any explicit dealbreakers, we always recommend a meet-and-greet to ensure a good fit for everyone.

Ongoing Health

Fido is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. His adoption fee includes all of these services, as well as deworming and flea/tick prevention. He has also tested negative for heartworm.

Training & Support

As Fido is a stray, we cannot be certain about his house training status. However, based on his kennel behavior, we have a good feeling he may be trainable. He will do best with guidance and patience from his new family as he adjusts.

Fido is located at the Leitchfield Animal Shelter, 213 William Thomason Byway, Leitchfield, KY 42754. They are open Monday-Friday from 10 am-4 pm CDT and Saturday from 10 am-12 pm CDT. Please contact them directly for information about transportation options.
