Ongoing Health
Bradford tested positive for Heartworm upon arrival. The clinic staff will be with you every step of the way, answering questions and offering support during his approximately three-month treatment process, which involves simple at-home steps. A follow-up test will be needed six months after treatment begins. Heartworm treatment is highly successful, and he is anticipated to fully recover. Heartworm can only be transmitted from animal to animal by mosquitoes.
