Chimera - URGENT

Chimera is a 9-month-old Cattle Dog / Pit Bull mix who urgently needs a safe and loving home to recover from an upper respiratory infection. He's currently at the Kern County Animal Services - Bakersfield Shelter and has been since June 9, 2026. The shelter environment is challenging, with many dogs in a limited space, putting Chimera at risk. He's a handsome boy who deserves a chance to heal and thrive.

Ideal Home

A quiet and comfortable environment where Chimera can rest and recover is essential. As he's dealing with an illness, a home that can provide extra care and attention would be ideal.

Chimera is currently being treated for an upper respiratory infection. He needs a safe place to recuperate fully.

Training & Support

Chimera is not yet house-trained, so his new family will need to be patient and consistent with training.
