Maddox is a beautiful 4-year-old Belgian Malinois mix with a heart full of love to give. She and her sister Mel experienced a sudden and stressful upheaval in their lives due to their parents' divorce, which led to them losing their home and ultimately their parents. While Mel has found her forever family, Maddox is still patiently waiting for her special someone in Houston. She's described as a super sweet and almost perfect pup who gets along wonderfully with dogs, cats, and children. Maddox enjoys playing fetch but also cherishes her quiet time and prefers to relax with her foster parents, appreciating her own personal space. She's house-trained, crate-trained, very affectionate, and would thrive as a loving companion rather than a high-drive working dog. Maddox weighs about 60 lbs and is fully vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, and heartworm-negative, currently on ProHeart 12. She loves sunbathing and snuggling. Her resilience in overcoming a difficult situation means she's ready for a home filled with abundant love and affection.
Ideal Home
Maddox would do best in a home where she receives plenty of love and affection. A yard that is adequately and fully fenced is a requirement for adoption; electric or underground fences are not accepted.

Maddox is fully vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, and tested heartworm negative. She is currently on ProHeart 12.
